N7 Paintball Gear

Hello there, my few followers and interested people - I know I haven't been very active and it has been a long time since I last uploaded my 'art' but I am always happy to share when I come up with something new.
This helmet has been a birthday present from my sister to me, last year and my this years spring paint project.

I removed the elevated printing of the brand in some places, because it was difficult to tape those parts... the color just kept seeping through the cracks - turned out pretty neat for a first try I'd say^^

This is my interpretation of the N7 helmet with some Turian influence (a hommage to my Garrus/FemShep romance that I have ALWAYS chosen in each and every single game - I am a Garrus fangirl, just can't help it -_-)
The helmet was first painted with red color for the stripe below the eyes and one red stripe on the top middle to the back of the neck (not visible here, still got to look for pictures, will update this) after 48h of setting the paint I designed the Turian facepaint and added it onto both cheeks, the part with the N7 Logo comes off if you want to replace the lenses, so I could do the red triangular piece of the logo there too.
Letting these additions set for 24h this time I added the white paint - which was very difficult as the tape kept ripping the red color off - then letting it alltogether cure for another 24h.

I figured I could repair the small damage with a toothpick and red spraypaint in a plastic cup, works like a charm.
I coated each piece (not the lense or the headband) in 5-7 layers of clear spraypaint. I am a bit worried this won't spare them damage in a real paintball game, so I will be looking for more durable spray paint.

This is my work, and I have dreamed of it since the end of Mass Effect 2.
Guess I'm stuck in that universe^^
